Being told your infertility is unexplained doesn't mean there's no reason, it means standard testing hasn't found it yet. A typical fertility workup is narrow by design, covering hormone levels on specific cycle days, a HyCoSy and a semen analysis, while thyroid antibodies, sperm DNA fragmentation, vaginal and gut microbiome health, and full-cycle hormone patterns sit outside it entirely.

As a fertility nutritionist working with a functional medicine approach, I widen that investigation, testing the areas standard care doesn't cover, so you have something concrete to work with rather than continuing to try month after month with no clearer picture.

When a friend referred me to see Georgina I was sceptical to be honest. As a single 32 year old, I was planning on freezing my eggs. I wanted to do everything in my power to make sure they retrieved as many high quality eggs as possible.
