What is the Fertility MOT?

Prepare for egg freezing and optimise your fertility.

The Fertility MOT is my proactive fertility program, for women preparing for egg freezing and couples who want to give their future fertility the best possible start. Egg and sperm quality can improve significantly over a 12 week period, a genuine window of opportunity that can shape both your fertility outcomes and your future child's health.

Rather than waiting until something goes wrong, we use in depth testing to understand exactly what is happening in your body now, and build a personalised plan around it, not a generic checklist.

Frequently Asked Questions

Starting your health journey can feel overwhelming. Here are answers to some of the most common questions.

How can I improve my fertility?

It starts with improving your overall health. Fertility is a direct reflection of how well your body is functioning, and modern diets and lifestyles are actively working against it, often without any obvious symptoms. We begin with the fundamentals: closing nutritional gaps, correcting imbalances, and supporting the systems that regulate hormone production. From there, we move on to more advanced testing if needed. Egg and sperm cells are highly responsive to change, so results can show within a matter of months.

How does fertility nutrition help with egg freezing?

Targeted changes to diet, supplements and lifestyle can significantly impact egg health and quality, supporting mitochondrial function, reducing oxidative stress and improving the hormone environment eggs develop in. I have seen real improvements in retrieval numbers and egg quality when clients properly prepare for their egg freezing cycle, rather than going in with generic groundwork and supplements.

Why do you need 90 days before my egg freezing cycle?

Egg cells take around 90 days to mature before ovulation or retrieval. That gives us a window to directly influence their health and quality. We use this time to prepare your body so your eggs have the best possible environment to develop in.

What foods should I eat for fertility?

Eat the way your grandmother did. Research consistently points to the Mediterranean diet as one of the best approaches for fertility: rich in vegetables, fruit, full fat dairy, eggs, meat, fish, nuts and seeds, and very light on processed food. It's less about restriction and more about eating real, whole ingredients.

Why do I need supplements for fertility?

Our soil isn't what it used to be. Decades of intensive farming have depleted the mineral content of much of our produce, so even a good diet doesn't always deliver what your body needs. Targeted supplements and herbs fill that gap. Used therapeutically and at the right dose, they work in a similar way to medication (many medications originally derive from plants), correcting underlying imbalances rather than masking symptoms.

What age should I start thinking about freezing my eggs?

Egg quantity and quality both decline with age, with a more noticeable drop from your mid-thirties onwards. There's no single right age, it depends on your individual circumstances, but earlier generally means better outcomes per cycle. If you're considering it, it's worth having a conversation sooner rather than later, even if you're not ready to start the process yet.
