Featured Case Studies

Every person's health journey is unique. Our case studies share real experiences of clients who have received personalised nutrition and lifestyle support across fertility, hormonal health, pregnancy, and overall wellbeing.

Case: PCOS/PMOS · Miscarriage · Thyroid

This couple had been trying for over a year and had experienced a miscarriage at 10 weeks. Both worked in the functional medicine field and were already extremely healthy with their diet, lifestyle and supplements. She had a known PMOS/PCOS diagnosis and was tracking her cycles and ovulation, which often ran to 70 days.

Case: Multiple Miscarriage · Secondary Infertility · IVF/IUI · Male Infertility · Infections

This couple had a five year old daughter and had been trying for a second child for almost three years. In that time, they had three miscarriages, one following IUI and one following a failed IVF cycle where the embryo arrested on day 3. She was experiencing spotting, pain during intercourse, frequent colds and infections, fatigue, bloating, and heavy, painful periods that had worsened since each miscarriage. He felt generally healthy, though stressed with a demanding finance job.

Miscarriage

Case: Egg Freezing · Fertility · IVF · Sperm Donor

This client, aged 41, came to me after the breakdown of her marriage. She knew she wanted children and didn't know where to start. Her AMH and AFC were both low, indicating a reduced egg reserve and early perimenopause, despite having no symptoms she'd noticed herself. She decided to begin with a round of egg and embryo freezing using donor sperm.

Egg Freezing Fertility

Case: Unexplained Infertility · Suspected Endometriosis · Inflammation · Late 20s

This professional couple, both in their late twenties, had been trying to conceive for 18 months. Standard NHS investigations, hormone bloods, a semen analysis, a scan, had come back normal and it was suggested that they had ‘unexplained infertility’ and they were recommended IVF. She'd had painful, heavy periods and pain during sex for years, which she'd previously visited her GP about. A referral to a specialist consultant confirmed suspected endometriosis. Given that surgery would mean a long recovery period, we all agreed that we should try more natural methods of symptom and inflammation management before committing to that decision.

Frequently Asked Questions

Starting your health journey can feel overwhelming. Here are answers to some of the most common questions.

Can fertility nutrition help with miscarriage?

Yes, and this is one of my specialist areas. I help you uncover the possible reasons behind your loss and address them before trying again.

Can nutrition help with infertility?

Yes, it's hugely important. What we eat becomes the building blocks of our cells, including eggs and sperm, and our hormones, alongside the therapeutic supplements I prescribe. My approach goes far beyond nutrition alone. I use functional testing to explore what may be causing your fertility problems, then work to address them.

How long does it typically take to see changes?

Every case is different, but many clients notice changes in energy, cycle regularity or symptoms within the first six to eight weeks. Egg and sperm cells take around three months to mature, so this is generally the minimum timeframe for changes at that level, which is why my packages run for at least three months. Real, lasting change takes a little time, but it's often faster than people expect.

Can nutrition help after a failed IVF cycle, before trying again?

Yes, and this is often when functional testing is most valuable. A failed cycle can highlight specific areas to investigate further, whether that's egg or sperm quality, the uterine environment, immune factors or hormone balance. Preparing properly between cycles, rather than going straight back in, is something I see make a real difference to outcomes.

Who is your typical client?

Most of my clients have been trying for a while and have had testing come back "normal" without real answers. Some are preparing for IVF and want to maximise their chances beforehand, others are recovering from failed rounds, recurrent miscarriage, or an under-investigated PCOS diagnosis. They've usually already tried the basics, eating well, some supplements, standard testing, and are looking for a proper explanation rather than more reassurance. I work with clients UK-wide, online.
